Adam I. Kim, AIF®
Managing Partner, Financial Advisor
My journey in financial services started in 1997, embarking on a career working with investment firms such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. Much like a pharmaceutical representative, my role involved traveling the nation, introducing and advocating investment products to both prominent Wall Street firms and boutique establishments. Over the course of 14 years, I delved deep into the intricacies of investment strategies and product development, acquiring insights into the inner workings of the industry and product development – what I call the “secret sauce” behind the scenes.
Transitioning to my own private advisory practice in 2010, I leveraged this experience to guide my clients towards tailored strategies, balancing considerations of cost and risk. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, I extend the fiduciary commitment to both individual retirement accounts under my management and the employer-sponsored retirement plans we advise. Recognizing the distinctiveness of each client, both individual and corporate, I am dedicated to crafting portfolio solutions aligned with their unique goals, challenges, and risk appetites. Upholding a commitment to integrity, care, and fiduciary duty, I strive to exceed expectations in every interaction.
I love music and motorcycling, and as a guitarist and bassist for the CrossCity Church worship band, I’m able to give back using one of my passions. With my wife Kelley and our two sons, we enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s cycling, skiing, snowboarding, or fishing. We like to go to the coast or the South when we can, but you’ll usually find us at home with Lucy, our adopted Shepherd mix.
Richard Imamura
Managing Director, Financial Advisor
With a career spanning over two decades in the financial services sector, my journey began in 1996 with New York Life, where I served as a registered representative. During my tenure, I honed my expertise in insurance and retirement planning, cultivating a deep-seated commitment to fostering meaningful client relationships while assisting them in achieving their financial objectives.
After five years at New York Life, I transitioned to Valic Financial Advisors, focusing extensively on retirement and investment planning. Specializing in serving individuals within the healthcare and education sectors, I also delved into the realm of group retirement plans. This experience allowed me to collaborate closely with employers, empowering them to establish and maintain robust retirement solutions for their workforce.
In 2014, I embarked on a new chapter by joining Adam and Paige as an independent advisor. This afforded me the freedom and flexibility to tailor my services precisely to my clients’ unique needs and goals. Embracing independence has been instrumental in elevating the level of support I provide to my valued clientele.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I find immense fulfillment in sharing my passion for judo as an instructor at Fresno State and The Fresno Judo Club. Volunteering my time in this capacity allows me to make a positive impact on the lives of our youth, guiding them towards a future filled with promise and achievement. In addition to judo, I enjoy indulging my interests in sports, music, movies, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Paige Orman
Office Administrator
Paige has been with our team since 2014. She was born and raised in Fresno and holds a Marketing degree from California State University Fresno. Her career began with event coordination at the Holiday Inn near the airport, but she quickly realized her passion lay in working closely with people and building relationships. In January 2014, she met Adam and Richard, and she has been by their side ever since. In 2018, Paige became a Notary, offering additional services to clients.
Outside of work, Paige is a wife and mother to two active kids. Both she and her husband hail from Fresno and attended Fresno State, where they remain avid supporters of the university’s athletics. Their lives revolve around sports, whether coaching their kids’ teams or cheering them on. They reside in a quiet neighborhood near a golf course, where they enjoy walks with their two dogs. When not with family or at sporting events, Paige loves spending time at the beach, preferably with a good book.
